Peter Yarem went 2-for-3 with four RBI including a three-run home run in the third inning and the bullpen scattered three hits over five shutout innings to secure a 9-7 victory for the Susquehanna University Baseball team over non-conference opponent Albright College Wednesday afternoon at Harry Bollinger Field in Selinsgrove.

Nick Berger was 4-for-5 with two runs scored a home run and a run-scoring double in the bottom of the ninth inning for the Susquehanna University Baseball team but the rally in the bottom of the ninth inning fell one run short as the River Hawks dropped a 9-8 decision to Alvernia University Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference game on Bollinger Field in Selinsgrove.

Senior Rob Johnson improved his score by 15 strokes Monday for the Susquehanna University Men’s Golf team on the second day of competition at the National Collegiate Invitational at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic. Pa. The strong finish helped the River Hawks to an 11th place finish overall in the two-day event.
