Crusader Men’s Hoops Headed to the Championship
The game certainly was not for the faint of heart but the Susquehanna men’s basketball team held off a resilient Catholic squad to defeat the Cardinals 69-66 in Wednesday night’s Landmark Conference semifinal matchup. The Crusaders will now travel to Scranton on Saturday for a 2 p.m. Landmark Conference championship game.

Sellinger Scores 1,000th; SU to Host Semifinals
Harley Sellinger became the newest member of the 1,000 point club as he helped the Susquehanna men’s basketball team to a 87-77 victory at Merchant Marine on Saturday afternoon. The win, combined with a loss by Catholic at Moravian earlier in the day, SU earned the No. 2 seed in the Landmark Conference Playoffs and will host No. 3 Catholic on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.

Hedley’s Buzzer Beater Sends Seniors Off in Style
With less than three seconds remaining in the game, sophomore guard Brandon Hedley nailed a three-pointer at the top of the key as time expired, lifting Susquehanna men’s basketball over rival Juniata 59-58 on Wednesday evening.

The free hot dogs and Pepsi beverages given away on Susquehanna’s annual Pepsi Day paled in comparison to the on-court action fans were treated to in the men’s basketball team’s win over visiting Moravian. The Crusaders picked up a key Landmark win with a 91-86 victory over the Greyhounds.

The Susquehanna men’s basketball team fought off a resilient Moravian team to grab a 68-63 road conference win on Saturday afternoon. The Greyhounds were able to erase a 12-point halftime deficit but the Crusaders’ were ultimately able to come out on top to pick a critical league victory.
