Sophomore Brandon Hedley and freshman Steven Weidlich each scored 25 points as Susquehanna men’s basketball defeated Lycoming 99-84 in the 2013-14 season opener on Tuesday evening, the first win for SU over the Warriors since 2007.

Susquehanna University President L. Jay Lemons has been appointed to represent the Landmark Conference on the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Division III Presidents Council. His term of service on the committee begins immediately and will continue through January 2015 with eligibility for reappointment.
