The Susquehanna University Men's Golf team wrapped up the 2016-17 season competing at the National Invitational Tournament Sunday and Monday at the Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic, Pennsylvania.
Junior Connor White was the top Susquehanna finisher as he took 24th place with a two-day score of 13 over par 155. White started the day in the top-15 after posting a +3, 74 Sunday in the first round of competition.
Matthew Schaffner finished in a tie for 29th place with a two-day score of +17, 159 with round scores of 79 and 80. Rob Johnson rounded out the River Hawks scoring with a +35, 177 which tied for 51st place in the final overall standings. Brendan Bolah shot an 82 Sunday in the first round but withdrew from the tournament before the start of the second round.
McDaniel College won the team title with a +24, 592 overall score and finished three strokes ahead of Rosemont College while Muhlenberg was third with a team score of 602 (34 over par).
