Freshman Chris Bouchard led the Susquehanna University Men's Golf team by finishing tied for third place in the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Championship Tournament and has earned a First Team All-Landmark recognition for his efforts as announced by the conference office Wednesday.
Bouchard shot an eight over par 79 in day one of the tournament and followed that with a 10 over par 81 on the second day of competition. His final score of 160 put him ahead of 31 other Landmark competitors.
His efforts led the team to a fourth place finish in Landmark's first conference golf tournament. Men's Golf was added as a sponsored sport in the Landmark Conference this past season.
Bouchard has been one of the team's top scorers for the entire year, which included him carding his lowest round of the year at the LVC Dutchmen Invitational in the fall with a 76.
