Ryan Felty Named Head Golf Coach at Susquehanna

Ryan Felty has been hired to take over the head coaching duties for the Susquehanna University Men's Golf team starting in the fall according to Director of Athletics Pam Samuelson.

"We are very happy that Ryan (Felty) has joined our staff to coach the golf team," said Samuelson. "He brings a wealth of coaching and management experience to the position and I am confident that he will do very well with the recruitment and development of our student-athletes."

Felty is a veteran high school coach and served most recently as the head coach for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School in Coal Township. He also coached at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona for three seasons after a stint at Selinsgrove High School form 2001-03.

The former assistant sales manager for Stand by Golf in Scottsdale and current procurement manager at Great Coasters International in Sunbury earned a degree in Sports Management from Florida State University.

The Susquehanna Men's Golf team finished fourth in the first Landmark Conference Championship Tournament in the spring as freshman Chris Bouchard finished third overall for the River Hawks.
