TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna senior men's lacrosse player Kade MacGregor has been named the 2015-16 Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Senior Scholar-Athlete.
MacGregor is the SU's second men's lacrosse player to earn this honor; Luke Burtnett '08 was named Senior Scholar-Athlete in 2007-08.
A four-year member of the team, MacGregor is an accounting major and became the program's first-ever junior to earn All-America status as he was an honorable mention in 2015.
MacGregor has been named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll every season in which he has been eligible and has also been named to the Susquehanna Dean's list each semester. He is a member of SU's Accounting Club and International Business Honor Society (Beta Gamma Sigma) whose members are among the top 10 percent of business students in accredited business schools across the globe.
MacGregor finished his four years with 70 career games and 205 ground balls which are second and sixth all-time, respectively, in program history. He missed one game his entire career and served as team captain in 2016. He was on two Landmark Conference Championship teams which advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
