Men’s Tennis Defeated by PSU-Harrisburg

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Seniors Matthew Quadrini (Escondido, Calif. / Brunswick (Maine)) and Jeff Mazurek (Bozrah, Conn. / Norwich Free Academy) were the lone singles winners for Susquehanna’s men’s tennis team as the Crusaders were defeated 5-4 by Penn State Harrisburg (3-0) Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.

Quadrini defeated Zach Warriner 6-2, 7-6 (5) and Mazurek beat Tyler Loy 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles action, freshman Garrett Lynn (Glastonbury, Conn. / Glastonbury) and Quadrini won 8-5 over Jerred Hall and Nate Tulchinsky. Seniors Alec Green (Media, Pa. / Strath Haven) and Grant Uber (Biglerville, Pa. / Biglerville) defeated Josh Cartmill and Tyler Loy 8-3.

The Crusaders (0-2) will host Lebanon Valley on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 12:00 p.m.
