The Susquehanna University Men's Tennis team has been selected as the No. 8 team in the annual Landmark Conference Preseason poll released earlier this week. The River Hawks will look to surprise some of the coaches that picked the team to finish at the bottom of the conference standings.

Goucher was the top pick with 66 points and six first-place votes and Juniata was second (60 points/two first-place votes). Catholic and Scranton were tied for third with 34 points each followed by Drew (33 points), Moravian and Elizabethtown (18 points each) and Susquehanna (9).

The River Hawks did not win a Landmark Conference match last season but finished the Fall portion of the schedule with a 5-1 record.

The team starts the Spring schedule this coming week at Hilton Head, South Carolina with matches against Marietta (Mar. 12), Millikin (Mar. 14) and Shepherd (Mar. 16). The Landmark Conference schedule begins Mar. 26 at home against Catholic.
