SU's Anderson and Klingler Compete at LHU Qualifier

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Juniors Braden Klingler (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) and Caitlin Anderson (Islesboro, Maine/Islesboro Central) represented the Susquehanna University men's and women's track & field teams at Lock Haven University's LHU Qualifier at Hubert Jack Stadium on May 8. There was no team scoring.

Anderson placed second out of nine athletes in the hammer throw with a distance of 44.47 meters (145 feet, 11 inches). She was the only non-NCAA Division II competitor in that event.

Klingler placed fifth out of 10 athletes in the javelin throw with a mark of 53.42 meters (175 feet, 3 inches), better than one Division II thrower and one unattached competitor.
