The Susquehanna University Men's Track and Field team has been picked to finish second in the annual Landmark Conference Preseason poll released this week but the conference office. The poll is based on votes from each of the conference's head coaches.
Moravian was picked as the top team in the poll with 50 points and five of the six first-place votes. Susquehanna was second with 34 points and a first-place vote followed by Elizabethtown (31 points), Juniata (21), Catholic (16) and Goucher (10).
Last year, Moravian won the outdoor title with Susquehanna finishing second and Elizabethtown third.
For the River Hawks, the outdoor season begins March 18 at the Juniata Invitational. Susquehanna will host the annual Jim Taylor Invitational March 25.
