Men’s Track and Field Led by Throwers, Jumpers and a Relay

The 4x400 relay finished 17th, Chris Petraskie had two top-20 finishes and Robert Marks finished 12th to lead the Susquehanna University Men's Track and Field team at the 2018 Bison Outdoor Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Bucknell University.

The relay, made up of Tanner Haydt, Gustin Reynolds, Kaleb Waiwada and Paul Jones, finished with a time of 3:34.44 to take 17th place overall in the race.

Petraskie continued to impress with a 16th place finish in the high jump. He had the top Division III finish in the event as he cleared the 1.96 meter height. He was also 19th in the triple jump with a final distance of 13.15 meters.

Robert Marks had the highest finish of the meet for the River Hawks as he took 12th place in the javelin with a throw of 56.53 meters,

Other top Susquehanna finishers included Jones and Haydt in the 200 as the duo finished 38th and 39th respectively, Josh Brown was 35th in the shot put and the trio of Jake Menchey, Brandon Sorge and Kyle Skelton took 37th, 39th and 40th in the 3K race.

Dylan Heisey was 41st in the discus and Darian Redmond was 42nd in the 100-meters for the River Hawks.

Susquehanna will compete next at the Under the Lights meet next weekend at Mansfield.
