Ciaran Fisher Leads Susquehanna at Juniata Meet

Junior Ciaran Fisher captured sixth place overall and led a third place effort for the Susquehanna University Men's Cross Country team at the Juniata Invitaitonal meet run over an 8K course on the Standing Stone Golf Course in Juniata.

Fisher clocked a 28:21.80 to lead the River Hawks.

Juniata won the team competition with 29 points while Moravian (34 points) was second and Susquehanna (96) was third. Catholic (102) was fourth and Pitt-Johnstown (110) took fifth.

Eric Pressler was the second Susquehanna finisher as he took 20th place with a time of 29:46.90 and Kyle Skelton clocked a 30:19.10 to finish 27th. Jake Menchey was 30th in 30:48.80 and Brandon Sorge took 33rd in 30:53.60. Leonard Bolinsky was next with a 35th place finish in 30:55.20.

The River Hawks will run next on September 23 in the Lock Haven Invitational.
