SU Women's Golf Opens Spring Slate at Dickinson College Invite


CARLISLE, Pa. -- The Susquehanna University women's golf team placed third out of five teams at the Dickinson College Invitational, held at Mayapple Golf Links on March 27.

Susquehanna totaled a score of 418 on the par-72, 5,800-yard course to finish behind the 369 total put up by Gettysburg College and the 400 by Dickinson.

SU's senior Rachel Villano [Clayton, Calif./Downingtown West (Pa.)] tied for fifth place individually out of 26 players with a total of 92.

Teammate and sophomore Alissa Perez (Monmouth Junction, N.J./South Brunswick) finished close behind with a ninth-place score of 97.

Rounding out the Crusaders card were sophomore Amanda Keister (State College, Pa./State College) and senior Serena Conway (Media, Pa./Country Day School of the Sacred Heart), who finished tied for 12th and alone in 17th, respectively, with a 108 and 121.
