Women’s Golf Takes Fifth at Susquehanna Invitational

Michelle Davidson recorded a 19 over par 89 to finish fifth in the individual standings for the Susquehanna University Women's Golf team Sunday at the annual Susquehanna Spring Invitational at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club.

Davidson led the River Hawks as the team scored a 451 to place fifth as a team. Gettysburg won the team title with a low score of 317 followed by Manhattanville (397), Dickinson (399), Scranton (434) and the Susquehanna rounded out the top five.

Samantha Thompson was the second Susquehanna finisher coming in with a 98 followed by Kira Hunter (131) and Jocelyn Tomayo (133).

Samantha Sessa from Gettysburg was the medalist with a six-over par 76 on the par 70 (5,803-yard) course.

The River Hawks will play next at Ursinus College on April 11.
