Women's Golf Place Four among Top-20

Michelle Davidson and Samantha Thompson finished next to each other in 11th and 12th place resectively and the Susquehanna University Women's Golf team placed all four scoring golfers in the top-20 Tuesday afternoon at the Ursinus College Spring Invitational on the Stonewall North Course in Elverson, Pa.

The River Hawks finished third out of the eight teams competing in the tournament. Muhlenberg won the team title with a 345 score (65 over par) followed by Alvernia (381, +101) and Susquehanna with a 417 score or 137 over par. Albright was fourth six strokes behind the River Hawks while Cabrini, Franklin and Marshall, Neumann and Ursinus did not enter enough golfers to record a team score.

Davidson led Susquehanna with a 23 over par 93 and Thompson was next on the leader board with a +26 96 on the par 70, 5,886 yard course.

Jocelyn Tamayo finished at +43 with a 113 and Kira Hunter had a final score of +45 115 to finish 19th and 20th respectively.

The River Hawks will complete the 2017 Spring season with the Centennial Conference Championships April 22-23 at Franklin and Marshall.
