Kevin Jamieson Named Women’s Golf Coach at Susquehanna

Former head coach at Bucknell University and the Club Professional at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club, Kevin Jamieson, has been named the head coach of the Susquehanna University Women's Golf team as announced by Director of Athletics Pam Samuelson.

Jamieson coached the Bucknell University Women's Golf team for 16 years before stepping down following the 2016 season to pursue other opportunities and was named the Susquehanna Valley Country Club Professional in January of 2017.

At Bucknell, Jamieson developed a program that advanced to a second place finish in the Patriot League Championships in 2013 and a Patriot League team title the following season. Jamieson was named the Patriot League Coach of the Year in 2013.

Jamieson led the Bison to a school-record championship team score in 2016 of 927 which is the third lowest score in school history. In 2012, the team compiled a fifth consecutive low score average for a season with a 312.4 average score.

Additionally, Jamieson led a fundraising effort at Bucknell to secure funding for the $2.9 million indoor golf facility in 2011.

While the head coach at Bucknell, he was also the Assistant Pro at the Bucknell Golf Club on the Lewisburg campus.

Jamieson passed the PGA Player Ability test in 1999 and was named to the East Team for the PGA top playing assistants for the Dick Smith Cup matches in 2009.
