Results

READING, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's freshman Devin Lessard (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne's County) won three individual events, including a school-record-mark of 11 minutes, 5.52 seconds in the 1,000-yard freestyle, but Susquehanna (8-3) lost a women's swimming meet at Albright College (8-2), 108-97, on Jan. 30.

Lessard also won the 100 butterfly and 500 free with times of 1:01.76 and 5:30.10, respectively. Her time in the 1,000 free broke her own record of 11:10.45, set earlier this season.

Not to be outdone, junior Christie Savard (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) broke a school record as well as part of three wins. Savard broke her own Susquehanna mark in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:48.47. She also won the 100 backstroke with a 1:02.92 mark and helped the Crusaders take the 200 medley relay in 1:56.35. Seniors Cristina Los (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury), Hayley Keenan (Pikesville, Md./Liberty HS) and Catherine Harris (Miller Place, N.Y./Miller Place) finished that relay, in order.

Savard's previous 400 IM record of 4:48.99 was set earlier this season.

Next Meet: Friday-Sunday, Feb. 12-14, at Landmark Conference championships (USMMA)
