    Two 45-minute halves and two 10-minute overtime periods were not enough for the Susquehanna University Women’s Soccer team and the Catholic University to decide the winner of the Landmark Conference Semifinal game Wednesday night at Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove. After the two teams ended the game in a scoreless tie, Susquehanna was able to advance with a 3-2 win over the Cardinals in the penalty shots.

    The Susquehanna University Men’s and Women’s soccer teams were awarded the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 academic year. This award is presented by United Soccer Coaches of America, formerly known as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). This is the fifth consecutive year both teams have won the award.
