Linsey Sipple won the lone match for the Susquehanna University Women's Tennis team Thursday in an 8-1 loss to Shepherd as the River Hawks wrapped up a three match trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Sipple won at No. 2 singles coming back after dropping a close first set, 6-7. She then posted a 6-4 win in the second set and then won a 10-4 decision in the tie breaker set.

The River Hawks had a pair of close matches in the doubles competition as Alyssa Fleischman and Megan Rudloff dropped an 8-6 decision ay No. 1 doubles and the team of Amy Jennings and Brianna Grey fell at No. 3 doubles by an 8-4 score.

The River Hawks return home and will face Trinity (DC) at 1 pm March 25.
