Hannah Perkins placed in the top-10 three times and Jasmine Mitchell was one of four Susquehanna University Women's Track & Field athletes to capture a pair of top-10 finishes Saturday as the River Hawks hosted the SU Invitational in the James Garrett Sports Complex in Selinsgrove.
Mitchell was third in the 60-meter dash and also helped the 4x200 relay take second place. Mitchell teamed with Carlye McQueen, Samantha Reed and Perkins for the second place finish. Perkins also finished sixth in the 400 meters and was part of the 4x400 relay that place fourth. Perkins raced with Hannah Stauffer, Alexa Pietrini and Gabrielle Verruni for the fourth place finish.
Stauffer added a fourth in the 800 while Reed was third in the 200 for their double top-10 finishes. Sarah Rinaldi had a pair of top-10's in the triple jump (8th) and high jump (8th) for the River Hawks.
Additional top-10 finishes came from Michelle Turnbach with a fourth in the 60-meter hurdles, Amy Kaschack with a fifth in the 3K while Seema Tailor and Emily Leboffe finished fourth and fifth respectively in the 5K race.
The River Hawks will host the Landmark Conference Championships next weekend in Selinsgrove.
