The Susquehanna University Women's Track and Field team took home two Landmark Individual Awards and earned First Team All-Conference selections for three performances at the Landmark Conference Championships this past weekend in Selinsgrove. Sarah Rinaldi earned Women's Co-Field Athlete of the Year and Samantha Reed was named the Women's Rookie of the Year.
Rinaldi placed third in the long jump with a mark of 4.72-meters and also placing third in triple jump with a mark of 10.19 meters (33' 5.25"). Rinaldi earned Second Team All-Landmark Conference honors as she tied for second place in the high jump with height of 1.52 (4' 11.75") meters.
Rookie of the Year went to Samantha Reed for her first place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.60. Reed was a member of the first place finishing 4x200 relay team with a time of 1:48.75. Reed was a First Team All-Landmark selection for both events. The 4x200 relay team earned First Team honors with a relay that consisted of Carlye McQueen, Reed, Hannah Perkins and Jasmine Mitchell. Also earning First Team All-Conference honors were, Jasmine Mitchell in the 60-meter dash.
