Women’s Cross Country Regionally Ranked

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Susquehanna women's cross country team is ranked 10th in the most recent United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Mideast Region Poll. This marks the first appearance on the regional poll this season for the women's team.

The Crusaders are coming off a fourth-place finish at the Lock Haven Invitational on Sept. 26. Susquehanna had two top-20 finishers in the field of 258 runners. Senior Ashley West (East Hampton, N.Y./East Hampton) placed ninth while junior Amy Kaschak (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) was in 19th.

The men's and women's teams return to competition on Oct. 2 at the Paul Short Invitational.
