Women's Cross Country Takes Fourth at Juniata

Erin Reese, Kailyn Reilly and Hannah Stauffer each had top-8 finishes to lead the Susquehanna Women's Cross Country team to a fourth place finish at the Juniata Invitational Saturday afternoon with a 6K race on the Standing Stone Golf Course in Juniata.

Reese was impressive with a third place finish with a time of 24:47.80 while Reilly clocked a 25:23.10 for sixth place and Stauffer crossed the line in 25:43.90 and took eighth place overall.

Moravian was the top team with 41 points followed by Catholic (69 points), Juniata (79) and Susquehanna (82). Pitt-Johnstown (119) was fifth, Goucher (135) was sixth and Drew (197) was seventh.

Emily Eck was the fourth Susquehanna finisher in 34th place with a time of 29:39.30 and Anna Trapane finished 44th in a time of 31:05.80 while Jillian Batten was next in 45th position with a time of 31:16.10.

The River Hawks will compete next on September 23 at Lock Haven.
